Seminarium odbędzie się we wtorek 25 listopada 2025, o godz. 14:00 w CBK PAN, w sali konferencyjnej na I piętrze. Seminarium będzie prowadzone w języku angielskim.

Author bio: Graduated from Warsaw University of Technology (WUT) with Ph.D. in mechanical engineering. Worked in academic positions at WUT and as a visiting scholar at the University of Michigan. From 1998 until retirement in 2024 worked at Raybestos Powertrain (US) as Chief R&D Engineer. Major areas of studies include thermoelastic effects in frictional systems, vehicle dynamics, and computational mechanics. Developed specialized finite element models and methods for exploration of thermoelastic behavior of frictional systems. Performed comprehensive experimental studies in those areas. Implemented numerous industrial applications for automotive and heavy-duty industries.
