Author bio: Dr. Maksymilian A. Brzezicki, MD, PhD, Eng, is an academic physician in the field of clinical neurology and functional neurosurgery at the University Hospital in Zielona Góra. He is the Head of the Department of Neuroengineering and Space Medicine at the University of Zielona Góra, a lecturer in medicine at the University of Oxford, and a collaborator with the Space Research Centre PAS (Polish Academy of Sciences) and the University of Heidelberg. He completed his medical studies at the University of Oxford (academic and engineering medicine, PhD) and Bristol (clinical school), and subsequently worked and completed several years of specialist training at the John Radcliffe University Hospital in Oxford and the Royal Hospital for Children in Bristol.
