The brokerage event entitled: UK-Eastern Europe Meeting for Partnership in Space took place on 25th/26th October 2011 in the Polish Centrum Badań Kosmicznych PAN (CBK PAN) in Warsaw. The meeting, which gathered participants from the UK, Poland, Estonia, Finland, Latvia and Lithuania, was organised by the Science and Innovation of the British Embassy in Warsaw and CBK PAN
On the first day of the meeting the representatives of the space industry and academia presented a profile of their organisations, experiences of international co-operation and the fields for potential collaboration. The following day, Marek Banaszkiewicz, Director of the CBK PAN and Saleh Ahmed from the UK Space Agency moderated the session which aimed to identify areas of future cooperation in science and technology between the participants.
