The rocket experiment Gruzya-60 Spurt (G-60-S) was aimed at studying the processes in the vicinity of the vehicle caused by the injection of an electron beam. The payload was launched on September 18, 1981 with VERTICAL rocket going up to 1540km of altitude. One aspect was to study the neutralisation process during and after the payload charging caused by the emission of electrons, the other was to study optical and radio emissions as a consequence of non-linear processes such as beam plasma discharge. Poland has provided e.m. diagnostics, h.f. radiospectrometer, as well as the r.f. radiospectrometer.
