CORONAS-PHOTON SphinX was developed by the Solar Physics Division of the CBK PAN as a part of international collaboration involving scientists from Russia, Poland, the Czech Republic, Italy, the UK, and the USA. SphinX was launched aboard the Russian spacecraft CORONAS-PHOTON on January 30, 2009. SPHINX provided excellent quality observations of the Sun in soft X-rays during the period of the lowest solar activity. Data obtained from the SphinX mission enabled the monitoring of the energetic particle environment near the instrument.
