The project aims to develop a system based on stellite images for crops identification and monitoring, as well as, for assessing effects of extreme weather phenomena. The method which will be proposed, will use Copernicus Sentinels(1,2,3) data. The system will suport Statistics Poland. The system for identification and monitoring of arable corps will become one of the mechanisms for the development of innovation in agricultural statistics and will reduce the costs and burden of statistical production.
