INTEGRAL (International Gamma Ray Observatory) is a large ESA mission designed to study the gamma radiation in space. Satellite was launched into Earth orbit on October 2002. Polish CBK PAN participated in developing instruments and software for the mission. They included: VEB – unit for the gamma ray telescope IBIS, an on-ground data processing ackage for IBIS, EGSE – an electronic ground support equipment for the X-ray monitor JEM-X, a software packet for the on-board digital processing equipment (DPE) of the JEM-X experiment, a control and calibration package for the SPI gamma spectrometer.
