Author bio: Ryan Kagey serves as Vice President of Integrated Production & Technical Services at Axiom Space, where he leads cross-functional teams overseeing production, processing, and facility operations across the Axiom Space portfolio. With a career spanning over twenty years across NASA, the private sector, and aerospace manufacturing, he brings expertise in technical operations, logistics, and production management. Prior to joining Axiom Space, Kagey held leadership roles at Collins Aerospace, Hewlett Packard, and United Space Alliance, where he managed large-scale facility builds, government contracts, and international manufacturing processes. A graduate of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Houston, Texas with a Masterʼs in Technical Management, Kagey has been instrumental in advancing space infrastructure development. His experience ranges from supporting Extravehicular Activity (EVA) operations for the International Space Station (ISS) and Space Shuttle programs to optimizing complex manufacturing ecosystems.
