Bio: Tomasz Zawistowski, Ph.D., deputy director for technology development, gained experience in satellite mission preparation at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center, where he served as project manager for the construction of equipment for the CRAF, ISTP: SWE and POLAR. He led the project for the construction of the first Polish scientific satellites Lem and Heweliusz, which completed the international constellation BRITE, studying the pulsation of massive stars. He is the author of the concept of building an Earth observation satellite using very low Earth orbit. Winner of the Top 500 Innovators competition. Served as an expert of the Space and Satellite Research Committee of the Polish Academy of Sciences.
