Author bio: Assistant Professor at the Department of Experimental Psychology at the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin, and Chief Scientific Officer at the neurotechnology company Cortivision. He is the Principal Investigator of the experiment ‚PhotonGrav – Thoughts over gravity – a test of using fNIRS-based brain-computer interface in LEO conditions’.
This project aims to assess the feasibility of muscle-free communication in microgravity using a Brain-Computer Interface (BCI) based on functional Near-Infrared Spectroscopy (fNIRS).

In 2014–2015, he gained experience at the Laboratory for Neural Injury and Repair at the New York State Department of Health (USA). Subsequently, in 2018–2019,
he was a fellow at the International Research Centre for Intelligent Technologies of Brain-Machine Synergy at Hangzhou Dianzi University (China).
In 2022, he received the French government’s scholarship „France Excellence SSHN”.

He has served as Principal Investigator for research projects funded by the European Space Agency (ESA), the National Science Centre (NCN), and the National Centre for Research and Development (NCBR).
He has published in journals including Neuroscience, Brain Research Bulletin, Social Neuroscience, and Brain-Computer Interfaces.
He is a member of the Cognitive Neuroscience and Neuropsychology Section of the Committee on Psychological Sciences of the Polish Academy of Sciences (PAN), the Polish Neuroscience Society (PTBUN), and the Psychonomic Society.
